23 firms selling more than one evaluation
One firm’s shelf is wider than the whole field
Take the best evaluation at each firm here and you cover 93 points of modelled failure — 2% at Maven Trading up to 95% at Breakout. That is the range you move through by choosing a firm well.
Maven Trading’s own range is 98 points: 2% on the Buy Now, Pay Later and >99% on the Standard 3-Step. One firm’s shelf, wider than every firm’s best product put together.
It is not one outlier. The median firm here has 19 points between its best and worst, and 11 of 23 have twenty or more.

Instant-funding products are excluded throughout: there is no evaluation to fail. On Maven Trading and E8 Markets the worst figure prints as “>99%” because the model does not claim a certainty it cannot support. Subtracting the two printed percentages there gives a slightly smaller number than the spread column, which is computed from the values — the clamp hides distance rather than inventing it.
What this does and does not claim
It does not say the firm is irrelevant. 93 points between the best products is an enormous range, and a trader who picks the right product at Breakout is still worse off than one who picks the right product at Maven Trading.
What it says is that the second decision is not the smaller one. The usual order — settle on a firm from reviews and payout stories, then take whichever of its products looks reasonable — treats the choice worth up to 98 points as a detail after the one worth 93.
And the products inside a firm are far harder to tell apart than the firms are. Two evaluations on the same price list, with the same brand, the same support and the same payout record, differing by a daily loss limit of one percentage point — that is the shape most of this site is about.
What this does not measure
- · Anything except the odds. Price, payout reliability, the rules that appear once funded and the quality of support are all outside this table and any of them can outweigh it.
- · Firms selling one evaluation. They cannot have a spread, so they are absent rather than consistent.
- · Which product a buyer would actually pick. The spread is between the best and the worst on the shelf. A buyer who never considers the worst faces a smaller decision than the column suggests.
- · Everything in the assumptions. Assumes each trade is independent. Correlated positions — three majors against the dollar — lose together and count as one. Assumes every trade risks the same amount. Raising size after a loss shortens the streak you can survive. Uses your stated win rate. If that came from a demo account or a good month, the figure below is optimistic.

Questions
- Does it matter which prop firm you choose?
- Yes, and less than which product you choose from it. Taking the best evaluation at each of the 23 firms here covers 93 points of modelled failure, from Maven Trading's 2% to Breakout's 95%. But Maven Trading alone covers 98 points across its own range.
- Which prop firm has the widest range of difficulty?
- Maven Trading: 2% on its Buy Now, Pay Later against >99% on its Standard 3-Step, at 1% risk per trade. That is 98 points inside one firm. Assumes each trade is independent. Correlated positions — three majors against the dollar — lose together and count as one.
- Which prop firm is the most consistent across its products?
- Breakout, at 3 points between its best and worst of 3. A narrow range is not the same as a good one — Breakout's best models at 95%.
- How should this change how I shop?
- By spending at least as long on the second choice as the first. The usual order — settle on a firm, then take whichever of its products looks reasonable — puts a decision worth up to 98 points after one worth 93, and at 11 of these 23 firms the second is worth twenty points or more on its own.
