DNA Funded
Everything below is read from DNA Funded's own rules page and dated. What it costs and what it pays are on their site; what the rules mean at your risk per trade is not, and that is what this page adds.

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .
- · RULES ARE VERSIONED BY ACCOUNT CREATION DATE, and the PDF prints the cohorts side by side. Every figure here is "Accounts created on or after 03.02.2026"; the older cohort ran a 5% daily limit on this programme.
- · A profit cap applies to the first three approved payouts: "During the funded stage, a 5% profit cap applies to your first three approved pay-outs. Profits above this limit aren’t withdrawable and will be removed when your account resets to the original balance." A paid Profit Booster raises it to 7.5%.
- · A daily consistency cap runs at payout rather than as a breach: no single calendar day may contribute more than 30% of the requested payout, and profit above that is deducted from the request without failing the account.
- · Minimum 60 seconds per trade. Scalping, defined as opening and closing within 30 seconds, is not allowed in the funded stage.
- · News: no executions, opening or closing, within 5 minutes either side of a high-impact event on the funded account. High-impact means marked red on the FXStreet calendar.
- · Weekend holding is allowed on this programme, subject to the site-wide rule that only cryptocurrencies may be traded at the weekend — everything else may be held but not executed.
- · Thirty days without trading closes the account, and the maximum aggregate allocation across all accounts is $600,000.
- · CONTRADICTION on funded-stage payout days: one answer requires trades opened on 5 different days, another on the same page says "at least three different days". This affects payout eligibility rather than the pass requirement above.
- · CONTRADICTION in the drawdown FAQ’s own worked example: it defines the lifetime drawdown as a fixed percentage of the initial balance, then illustrates it with a figure anchored to the previous day’s equity, which is the daily-drawdown formula. The static reading is the one the Rules PDF supports.
2 Phase
difficulty ratio 1.63| Assessment profit target | 8% |

| Maximum overall loss | 8% (static) |
| Minimum trading days | 5 |
| Profit split | none published |

|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | USD 49 | — |
| $10,000 | USD 79 | — |
| $25,000 | USD 159 | — |
| $50,000 | USD 289 | — |
| $100,000 | USD 549 | — |
| $200,000 | USD 1,079 | — |
One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .
- · Cheaper than the 1 Phase at every account size — $49 against $59 at $5,000, $1,079 against $1,209 at $200,000 — while allowing a larger daily limit and a larger overall drawdown. All three of the firm’s own sources publish it that way.
- · The five minimum trading days apply to EACH phase separately: the Rules PDF lists "2 Phase: -Evaluation: 5 days -Verification: 5 days".
- · RULES ARE VERSIONED BY ACCOUNT CREATION DATE. These are the figures for accounts created on or after 03.02.2026.
- · The same 5% profit cap on the first three payouts, the same 30% daily distribution cap at payout, and the same paid add-ons as the 1 Phase.
- · Weekend holding allowed, expert advisors allowed, minimum 60 seconds per trade.
- · Carries the same two published contradictions as the 1 Phase: three against five funded-stage payout days, and a daily-drawdown worked example printed under the total-drawdown heading.

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .
- · The firm’s own definition: "Rapid — A type of Challenge where a Participant has a maximum of 10 days to complete the Assessment Stage to become eligible for the Funded Stage."
- · RULES ARE VERSIONED BY ACCOUNT CREATION DATE, and this programme has three cohorts rather than two. The 3% daily limit and the three minimum days are the newest; the older cohort ran a 4% daily limit.
- · WEEKEND TRADING IS PROHIBITED here, unlike on the 1 Phase and 2 Phase: the Rules PDF lists "Rapid: Not allowed" and adds that weekend trading is strictly prohibited for this programme.
- · A paid Demo Reset add-on is offered on this programme at 50% on top of the initial fee.
- · The same 5% payout profit cap, 30% daily distribution cap, 60-second minimum hold and 5-minute news window as the rest of the range.

- · THE FIRM PUBLISHES TWO INCOMPATIBLE METHODS for how this trailing limit moves, and on a grown account they differ by hundreds of dollars of room. The Rules PDF makes it a FIXED DOLLAR gap: "The drawdown limit is set as a fixed dollar amount, calculated as a percentage of the starting balance in an Account, and moves up as it makes profits" — its worked example holds a constant $250 gap as the account runs from $10,000 to $11,000. The drawdown FAQ instead recomputes the percentage against the new high, taking a $10,000 account with a $9,600 floor to a $10,560 floor at $11,000, a $440 gap. The firm has not reconciled them.
- · There is no daily loss limit at all, and the firm says so rather than omitting it: "Note: daily drawdown is not applicable for instant funding." The 4% trailing figure is the only loss limit on the product.
- · The floor never moves back down: "the drawdown limit never moves back down - if the equity in an Account falls, the limit stays where it was."
- · Nothing here is a pass requirement — the account starts funded. The five-day minimum gates payout eligibility only.
- · EXPERT ADVISORS ARE PROHIBITED on this programme alone; the 1 Phase, 2 Phase and Rapid all allow them. Weekend trading is prohibited too, and no Demo Reset add-on is offered.
- · MINOR TENSION on the trailing basis: the Rules PDF general conditions block states "Drawdown Type: Balance based" while the programme-specific text describes equity following the high.

Questions
- What are DNA Funded's challenge rules?
- As published on the firm's own pages, read 2026-08-23: 1 Phase: 10% target, 4% daily limit, 6% overall (static); 2 Phase: 8% + 5% target, 5% daily limit, 8% overall (static); Rapid (10 Days): 5% target, 3% daily limit, 5% overall (static); Instant Funding: no profit target, no published daily limit, 4% overall (trailing intraday). What these mean at your own risk per trade — how many consecutive losing trades each cap allows — is computed in the tables on this page.
- Does DNA Funded refund the challenge fee?
- 1 Phase: no; 2 Phase: no; Rapid (10 Days): no; Instant Funding: no. Where a refund exists, when it actually arrives is recorded in the rules above — several firms pay it with a later reward rather than on passing.
What is not on this page
A pass rate. Nobody publishes one, and the percentages in circulation come from firms selling challenges or affiliates earning on sign-ups. A number with that provenance would make this page look more authoritative and be worth less.
Fees are shown as displayed on the date read, and prop firms discount often — treat the figure as a snapshot and check the firm's own page before paying. What this page adds is the part that page does not tell you: what the rules mean at the risk you actually trade, and what the attempt costs once you stop assuming you pass first time. Run them against your own numbers.
Before you buy an attempt
Work out how many consecutive losers the drawdown allows at your risk per trade, and multiply the fee by the number of attempts you honestly expect. Both take a minute and both change the decision.
