For Traders

Everything below is read from For Traders' own rules page and dated. What it costs and what it pays are on their site; what the rules mean at your risk per trade is not, and that is what this page adds.

Published rules

Pay After Pass (Forex)

difficulty ratio 0.33
Challenge profit target 2%
Maximum daily loss 3% — ends the attempt
Maximum overall loss 6% (trailing close)
Minimum trading days none published
Profit split up to 80%
Fee refunded on passing no
Time limit none published
At 1% risk per trade, the attempt ends after 3 consecutive losers

What it costs

Account Fee Profit to break even
$25,000 USD 9 29 USD 11
$50,000 USD 9 39 USD 11
$100,000 USD 49 USD 61

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it . Struck-through figures are the higher price displayed beside a promotion on the date read.

  • · A split-fee product, and the firm publishes BOTH halves per size rather than only the one you pay today: entry $29 / activation $189 at $25,000, $39 / $329 at $50,000, $49 / $489 at $100,000. The entry half is currently discounted to a flat $9 on the two smaller sizes.
  • · The activation fee is time-limited: "Activation fee must be paid within 5 days from passing or account will be cancelled." The Terms and Conditions never fill the number in — clause 6.4 reads "within [X] days" — so the five days come from the help centre alone.
  • · The entry fee is not refundable whatever happens: "The entry fee covers access to the evaluation environment and is non-refundable regardless of outcome."
  • · The only programme here with no day requirement at all: "No minimum profitable days required — on either the Challenge or the Master account."
  • · A 2% profit target is the smallest on this site, and the 3% daily limit rather than the 6% drawdown is what ends the attempt.
  • · The funded account is a different product from the challenge: a 20% consistency rule, a 2% floating-loss protection and a five-minute news window all appear only there.
  • · The challenge-fee-back bonus that applies to the ordinary challenges is explicitly excluded here.

Fast (Forex)

difficulty ratio 1.50
Evaluation profit target 9%
Maximum daily loss 3% — ends the attempt
Maximum overall loss 6% (trailing close)
Minimum trading days 3
Profit split up to 80%
Fee refunded on passing no
Time limit none published
At 1% risk per trade, the attempt ends after 3 consecutive losers

What it costs

Account Fee Profit to break even
$6,000 USD 36 USD 45
$15,000 USD 74 USD 93
$25,000 USD 134 USD 168
$50,000 USD 186 USD 233
$100,000 USD 351 USD 439

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .

  • · The cheapest way to a $100,000 account among the up-front challenges here, at $351 against Classic’s $434 and Fast Static’s $449.
  • · The drawdown trails the highest closed balance, so banking profit raises the floor rather than buying room.

Fast Static (Forex)

difficulty ratio 1.67
Evaluation profit target 10%
Maximum daily loss 3% — ends the attempt
Maximum overall loss 6% (static)
Minimum trading days 3
Profit split up to 80%
Fee refunded on passing no
Time limit none published
At 1% risk per trade, the attempt ends after 3 consecutive losers

What it costs

Account Fee Profit to break even
$6,000 USD 51 USD 64
$15,000 USD 104 USD 130
$25,000 USD 171 USD 214
$50,000 USD 284 USD 355
$100,000 USD 449 USD 561

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .

  • · The same caps as Fast with a static drawdown instead of a trailing one, and a point more profit asked for it. The premium runs from 28% to 53% depending on size rather than at a steady rate — 42, 41, 28, 53 and 28 percent across the five.
  • · A static 6% is what the extra money buys: banked profit stays as room beneath you rather than lifting the floor with you.

Classic (Forex)

difficulty ratio 1.63
Phase 1 profit target 8%
Phase 2 profit target 5%
Maximum daily loss 4% — ends the attempt
Maximum overall loss 8% (static)
Minimum trading days 6
Profit split up to 80%
Fee refunded on passing no
Time limit none published
At 1% risk per trade, the attempt ends after 4 consecutive losers

What it costs

Account Fee Profit to break even
$6,000 USD 50 USD 63
$15,000 USD 87 USD 109
$25,000 USD 164 USD 205
$50,000 USD 261 USD 326
$100,000 USD 434 USD 543

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .

  • · Six minimum trading days, the most of any For Traders programme, against three on the Fast lines and none on Pay After Pass.
  • · The roomiest caps the firm sells on an up-front challenge: four points of daily limit inside eight overall.

Instant (Forex)

no evaluation
Profit target none — funded from day one
Maximum daily loss 3% — ends the attempt
Maximum overall loss 5% (trailing close)
Minimum trading days none published
Profit split none published
Fee refunded on passing no
Time limit none published
At 1% risk per trade, the attempt ends after 3 consecutive losers

What it costs

Account Fee Profit to break even
$6,000 USD 69
$15,000 USD 109
$25,000 USD 169
$50,000 USD 279
$100,000 USD 439

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .

  • · The profit split starts at 70% and rises by 5% with each reward, so the headline figure is a first rung rather than a ceiling. Recorded as no published maximum for that reason.
  • · No evaluation, so the caps are the whole product: 3% daily inside a 5% drawdown trailing the highest closed balance.
  • · The challenge-fee-back bonus does not apply to instant accounts.

Instant Pro (Forex)

no evaluation
Profit target none — funded from day one
Maximum daily loss none published
Maximum overall loss 6% (trailing close)
Minimum trading days none published
Profit split none published
Fee refunded on passing no
Time limit none published
At 1% risk per trade, the attempt ends after 6 consecutive losers

What it costs

Account Fee Profit to break even
$3,000 USD 81
$6,000 USD 164
$15,000 USD 329
$25,000 USD 629

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .

  • · CONTRADICTION on where the profit split stops. The rules page says "With every payout your share increases by 10%, up to 100%"; the help centre article for this same product publishes a different ceiling. Recorded as no published maximum rather than picking one.
  • · No daily loss limit is published for this programme, so the 6% trailing drawdown is the only cap.
  • · Dearest of the instant products by a wide margin — $629 for a $25,000 account against $169 on the ordinary Instant.

difficulty ratio 1.67

Maximum daily loss 3% — ends the attempt
Maximum overall loss 6% (trailing close)

$50,000 USD 351 USD 439

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .

  • · The crypto line is priced and ruled separately from the forex one: the same caps as forex Fast, a point more profit, six minimum days instead of three, and a higher fee at every shared size.

Fast Pro (Crypto)

difficulty ratio 1.50
Evaluation profit target 6%
Maximum daily loss none published
Maximum overall loss 4% (trailing eod)
Minimum trading days 4
Profit split up to 90%

$25,000 USD 102 USD 113
$50,000 USD 149 USD 166
$100,000 USD 216 USD 240

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .

  • · No daily loss limit at all, so the 4% end-of-day trailing drawdown is the only way to fail — one cap instead of two, on the tightest overall figure the firm sells.
  • · A 90% split published as a figure rather than as a starting rung, which the two Instant products reach only by ladder.
  • · The cheapest route to a $100,000 account anywhere in the range, at $216.

  • · The profit split starts at 70% and rises 5% per reward, so the published figure is a first rung rather than a ceiling.
  • · Identical caps to the forex Instant, on a separate price ladder that starts smaller at $3,000.

Questions

What are For Traders' challenge rules?
As published on the firm's own pages, read 2026-08-23: Pay After Pass (Forex): 2% target, 3% daily limit, 6% overall (trailing close); Fast (Forex): 9% target, 3% daily limit, 6% overall (trailing close); Fast Static (Forex): 10% target, 3% daily limit, 6% overall (static); Classic (Forex): 8% + 5% target, 4% daily limit, 8% overall (static); Instant (Forex): no profit target, 3% daily limit, 5% overall (trailing close); Instant Pro (Forex): no profit target, no published daily limit, 6% overall (trailing close); Fast (Crypto): 10% target, 3% daily limit, 6% overall (trailing close); Fast Pro (Crypto): 6% target, no published daily limit, 4% overall (trailing eod); Instant (Crypto): no profit target, 3% daily limit, 5% overall (trailing close). What these mean at your own risk per trade — how many consecutive losing trades each cap allows — is computed in the tables on this page.
Does For Traders refund the challenge fee?
Pay After Pass (Forex): no; Fast (Forex): no; Fast Static (Forex): no; Classic (Forex): no; Instant (Forex): no; Instant Pro (Forex): no; Fast (Crypto): no; Fast Pro (Crypto): no; Instant (Crypto): no. Where a refund exists, when it actually arrives is recorded in the rules above — several firms pay it with a later reward rather than on passing.

What is not on this page

A pass rate. Nobody publishes one, and the percentages in circulation come from firms selling challenges or affiliates earning on sign-ups. A number with that provenance would make this page look more authoritative and be worth less.

Fees are shown as displayed on the date read, and prop firms discount often — treat the figure as a snapshot and check the firm's own page before paying. What this page adds is the part that page does not tell you: what the rules mean at the risk you actually trade, and what the attempt costs once you stop assuming you pass first time. Run them against your own numbers.

Before you buy an attempt

Work out how many consecutive losers the drawdown allows at your risk per trade, and multiply the fee by the number of attempts you honestly expect. Both take a minute and both change the decision.
