OneFunded

Everything below is read from OneFunded's own rules page and dated. What it costs and what it pays are on their site; what the rules mean at your risk per trade is not, and that is what this page adds.

Published rules

Core Challenge

difficulty ratio 1.30
Phase 1 profit target 8%
Phase 2 profit target 5%
Maximum daily loss 5% — ends the attempt
Maximum overall loss 10% (static)
Minimum trading days 3
Profit split none published
Fee refunded on passing no
Time limit none published
At 1% risk per trade, the attempt ends after 5 consecutive losers

What it costs

Account Fee Profit to break even
$5,000 USD 35
$10,000 USD 65
$25,000 USD 139
$50,000 USD 259
$100,000 USD 469
$200,000 USD 799

One attempt. Multiply by the attempts you expect — the calculator does it .

  • · The fee comes back, but not for passing: "Core: Yes, 100% refundable, reimbursed with your first payout after you become a OneFunded Trader." That payout needs fourteen days since the first funded position and a minimum balance, so the money returns weeks after the evaluation ends and only if you are still trading. Fail and nothing is returned.
  • · UNRECONCILED CONTRADICTION on what the daily limit is a percentage OF. One help article says "Your account may not lose more than a defined percentage of your Start-of-Day Equity" and works the example off $102,000 of start-of-day equity; another says "Daily Drawdown Limit is fixed to initial account balance and is not changing together with equity changes" and works it off the $5,000 initial balance. The percentage is 5% either way; once you are in profit the dollar allowance is not.
  • · UNRECONCILED CONTRADICTION on news trading. The help centre permits it — "Clients are permitted to open, modify, and close positions" during the five minutes either side of high-impact news — while Terms clause 13.14 forbids exactly that: "the Client is strictly prohibited from closing, modifying, or partially closing any positions during the restricted period."
  • · Drawdown is equity-based throughout, so an open position alone can breach it: "Floating losses immediately affect drawdown / Open positions can trigger breaches / Equity, not balance, determines rule compliance."
  • · A best-day consistency cap applies at the two largest sizes only — 50% on the $100,000 and $200,000 — and it never breaches the account: "This rule doesn’t breach your account. It only means you need to continue trading so that your new profitable days dilute the impact of your biggest day."
  • · Max Exposure: combined floating loss on one trade idea is capped at 3% of equity up to $50,000 and 2% above it, with correlated instruments aggregated — a NAS100, US30 and SPX500 buy count as one idea. First and second breaches are warnings, the third is final.
  • · Expert advisors are allowed only with prior approval and only as assistants: "EAs that execute trades automatically on behalf of the client are not allowed."
  • · One trade every 60 days during the evaluation and every 30 once funded, or the account closes "with no eligibility for refunds".

Questions

What are OneFunded's challenge rules?
As published on the firm's own pages, read 2026-08-23: Core Challenge: 8% + 5% target, 5% daily limit, 10% overall (static); Flash Challenge: 10% target, 4% daily limit, 6% overall (static); Value Challenge: 8% + 6% target, 4% daily limit, 8% overall (static); Instant Funding: no profit target, 3% daily limit, 6% overall (static). What these mean at your own risk per trade — how many consecutive losing trades each cap allows — is computed in the tables on this page.
Does OneFunded refund the challenge fee?
Core Challenge: no; Flash Challenge: no; Value Challenge: no; Instant Funding: no. Where a refund exists, when it actually arrives is recorded in the rules above — several firms pay it with a later reward rather than on passing.

What is not on this page

A pass rate. Nobody publishes one, and the percentages in circulation come from firms selling challenges or affiliates earning on sign-ups. A number with that provenance would make this page look more authoritative and be worth less.

Fees are shown as displayed on the date read, and prop firms discount often — treat the figure as a snapshot and check the firm's own page before paying. What this page adds is the part that page does not tell you: what the rules mean at the risk you actually trade, and what the attempt costs once you stop assuming you pass first time. Run them against your own numbers.

Before you buy an attempt

Work out how many consecutive losers the drawdown allows at your risk per trade, and multiply the fee by the number of attempts you honestly expect. Both take a minute and both change the decision.
