A flat $10 apart · then the order reverses
DNA Funded Rapid vs 1 Phase
DNA prices the whole difference between these two at $10 — the same $10 at $10K, $25K, $50K, which is 11% of the fee at the bottom and 3% at the top.
Then at $100K the direction reverses and the 1 Phase is the dearer ticket, by $70. It is the only crossover in DNA's range.
| Account | 1 Phase | Rapid | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10K | $89 | $99 | Rapid +$10 |
| $25K | $179 | $189 | Rapid +$10 |
| $50K | $319 | $329 | Rapid +$10 |
| $100K | $619 | $549 | 1 Phase +$70 |
The money buys less room, not more
| Profit target | 1 Phase 10% | Rapid 5% |
| Daily loss limit | 4% | 3% |
| Overall drawdown | 6% | 5% |
| Time limit | none | 10 days |
| Minimum trading days | 5 | 3 |
Half the target is a real concession and the reason the product exists. Everything paying for it runs the other way: a point less daily room, a point less overall, and a deadline where the other has none.
What the loss count does not include
At 1% risk per trade the caps end a Rapid attempt after 3 consecutive losses and a 1 Phase attempt after 4. That figure counts losses against the caps and never looks at the clock — the same limitation the time-limits page states about every deadline on this site.
So 3 against 4 understates the gap, by an amount nobody here can put a number on. Rapid is harder than that comparison makes it look, not easier.
Why the crossover matters
A flat $10 across three rungs means the deadline product is priced as a fixed add-on rather than a proportion — and a fixed add-on becomes trivial as the account grows. By $50K it is 3% of the fee.
At $100K it goes further and turns negative: the harder, tighter, time-limited product is the cheaper one. Whatever the reason, it means the usual heuristic — that the dearer ticket is the more forgiving one — fails at exactly the size where most of the money is.

Questions
- Is DNA Funded’s Rapid more expensive than the 1 Phase?
- At the smaller sizes, by a flat $10: $10K is $99 against $89, $25K is $189 against $179, $50K is $329 against $319. At $100K it reverses — $549 against $619.
- What does the Rapid give up for its lower target?
- Room and time. Rapid allows 3% a day inside 5% overall against the 1 Phase's 4% inside 6%, and it must be finished in 10 days where the 1 Phase has no deadline at all.
- Which is harder to pass?
- The caps alone say Rapid, at 3 losing trades against 4 at 1% risk per trade. But that count ignores the clock entirely, and Rapid has one — so the real gap is wider than the figure, by an amount this site does not claim to know.
