“No daily loss limit” is 7 different things
One page here covers the 29 tiers that publish a daily loss limit. This one covers the 52 that do not, because the empty field is where the interesting part turned out to be. It is not one absence. It is 7.
Only 14 of the 52 are a firm genuinely saying nothing.

Which of these are measurements
3 of the 7 groups come out of the published figures and nothing else — whether another plan at the same firm charges a limit at the identical account size, whether a plan imposes one at some sizes and not others, whether a consequence is published without a level. Those would survive any rewording of a firm's page.
3 more are read from recorded rule text. That is a weaker instrument and worth naming as one: a firm that changes its wording moves between groups without changing its product. The counts are exact; the boundaries between the text-based groups are a reading.
And the last group is neither. “Nothing said at all” is a residue — what is left once the other six are taken out — so it inherits every boundary above it. It is the honest label for a group defined by subtraction.
One detail the first draft of this page got wrong, for the record: the sibling plans are not always twins. 6 of the 8 matched rows carry the same profit target and the same drawdown as the plan that imposes a limit, and Tradeify’s $100K and $150K do not. The daily limit is the headline difference, not the only one.
The same rule means the opposite in forex
Both datasets on this site record a daily loss limit and what hitting it does, so they can be put side by side. Of the 112 forex programmes read here, 95 impose a daily limit — 85% — and 83 of those end the attempt when it is hit.
In futures it is 36% of tiers, and not a single plan treats it as a breach. A forex daily limit is a way to lose the account. A futures daily limit is a way to lose the day. The name is the same and the consequence is not, which is a poor thing to discover by hitting one.

Questions
- Do futures prop firms have a daily loss limit?
- Most of the tiers here do not — 52 of 81 leave the field empty. But the emptiness is 7 different things, and only 14 tiers are a firm saying nothing at all. The rest have withdrawn it, made it optional, made it a checkout choice, or sell it on a sibling plan at the same price point.
- Is no daily loss limit a good thing?
- It removes a way to fail and leaves the trailing drawdown as the only loss rule. Whether that is generous depends on which of these 7 situations you are in: a limit you chose not to add behaves nothing like one a firm quietly stopped publishing.
- What does hitting a daily loss limit do at a futures prop firm?
- It pauses you. Of the futures plans here that impose one, not one treats it as a breach that ends the account. In the forex dataset on this site the opposite holds: 83 of 95 programmes with a daily limit end the attempt when it is hit. The rule shares a name across the two models and not a consequence.
- Which futures firms say nothing about a daily loss limit?
- Funded Futures Network · MAX Standard, Hola Prime Futures · 1-Step Challenge, TradeDay · Intraday, E8 Futures · E8 Signature. Each publishes a full parameter table with the daily limit simply absent — no figure, no “None”, no explanation.
