Room fixed at 2.5× · price 1.5–3.3×

Blueberry Instant Elite vs Instant Lite

Elite lets you lose exactly 2.5 times what Lite does — 10% of the account against 4% — at every size. The ratio never moves. The price ratio does, from 1.5× to 3.3×, and not in order.

So the question worth asking — what does a dollar of permitted loss cost? — has a different answer at nearly every rung, and the cheaper-looking account is the dearer one at 3 of 5 of them.

Account Lite Elite Lite, per $ of room Elite, per $ of room
$2.5K $65 $100 65c 40c
$5K $95 $200 48c 40c
$10K $139 $400 35c 40c
$25K $349 $800 35c 32c
$50K $449 $1,500 22c 30c

Cents charged for every dollar you are permitted to lose: the fee divided by the account size times its overall cap. The cheaper of the two is highlighted on each row, and it changes hands as you climb.

And the bigger difference is not the price

Lite carries a 2% daily loss limit. Elite publishes none at all. That single field dominates everything above: at 1% risk per trade the Lite attempt ends after 2 consecutive losing trades and the Elite attempt after 10.

Five times as many, from a rule that appears on neither pricing tile as a number a buyer would weigh. The per-dollar table above is the interesting arithmetic; this is the decisive one.

Why the value question has no single answer

When one product is a fixed multiple of another on the thing being bought, and a wandering multiple on the price, value has to change hands somewhere. Here it changes 2 times or more across 5 rungs, which means no sentence beginning “Elite is better value” or “Lite is better value” can be true of the range.

It can only be true of a size. That is worth knowing before reading any comparison of these two, including this one: the row you are buying is the only row that applies to you.

Questions

Which Blueberry instant account is better value?
It changes with the size. Per dollar of loss room, Elite is cheaper at $2.5K, $5K, $25K and Lite at the rest. The sticker price says Lite is cheaper everywhere, which is true and beside the point — Elite lets you lose 2.5× as much before the account ends.
What is the real difference between Elite and Lite?
The daily loss limit, more than the price. Lite stops the account at 2% in a day; Elite publishes no daily cap at all. At 1% risk per trade that is 2 losing trades against 10.
How much do the two cost?
$2.5K: Lite $65, Elite $100; $5K: Lite $95, Elite $200; $10K: Lite $139, Elite $400; $25K: Lite $349, Elite $800; $50K: Lite $449, Elite $1,500.
