Weltrade

Major regulator

Weltrade names at least one top-tier authority. In some jurisdictions that brings a searchable public register, a compensation scheme and a hard cap on retail leverage — but which of those you actually get depends on the authority, and the entity your account is opened with.

Search the FSCA register

Before you deposit

Open the client agreement and find the legal entity name. Then search that exact name on the register above. A group can hold a UK or Australian licence and still open your account on an offshore company, in which case the protections on this page do not apply to you. The website will not tell you which entity you get; the agreement will.

We publish no spread or swap figures for Weltrade. Those numbers are not available in any form we could cite, they change constantly, and they would be stale before you read them. Your own platform shows the exact terms of your account — put them into the cost calculator and the answer will be right rather than approximately plausible.

What Weltrade says about itself

Read from the firm's own legal text, not from a register. It is here so you have the entity name to search with — the check itself is the next step, and only you can do it for the account you are opening.

A South African company registered 2019/334947/07 at 46 Fairmount Avenue, Johannesburg, holding FSP intermediary licence 50691. That licence is an intermediary category rather than a full over-the-counter derivative provider authorisation, which is a narrower permission than the marketing implies.
